Position: Shutdown Workers – Maintenance Works/ hosing
Location: Cadia Mine, Orange NSW
Employment type: Casual

The Role:
Cadia Mine is a world-class gold/copper operation near Orange, NSW. We are currently preparing for an upcoming shutdown period which will include essential maintenance work. The successful candidates will join a dedicated team ensuring related facilities are shutdown/maintained safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and hosing for shutdowns.
  • Assist tradespeople with shutdown preparation tasks (clean‐up, minor works, handovers).
  • Ensure all work is performed in adherence with site Safety, Health, Environment & Community (HSEC) standards.
  • Report any damage, hazards or facility issues.
  • Day shift/ nightshift available with weekends.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in shutdown/ maintenance works, preferably in a mining environment or remote site.
  • Strong safety mindset.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Valid NSW driver’s licence with a vehicle (preferred)
